COMING UP NEXT
JOIN US FOR A WONDERFUL, SPECIAL, FUN PROGRAM AT THE FITCHBURG ART MUSEUM!

This is gonna be a blast...!

We will be performing a special program, "All Things Bright, Beautiful -- and Musical," to complement the upcoming Fitchburg Art Museum's exhibit,"All Things Bright and Beautiful: California Impressionist Paintings from the Irvine Museum."

The family-friendly program will be given Sunday, May 17, 2009, at 1:30 p.m.,
Fitchburg Art Museum,
185 Elm Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
Go to: the Fitchburg Art Museum, for more information

In the first half of the program, enter into the world the California artists knew as we give a short performance of historical music appropriate to the the time period and artistic themes of the paintings in the exhibit,
"All Things Bright and Beautiful: California Impressionist Paintings from the Irvine Museum"

~ and explore some links to the historical culture of Massachusetts.

During the second half of program, drawing on the paintings themselves, the audience will be invited to "live in" and "musically interpret" the artworks.
We will then guide a participatory improvisation of a musical piece, based on a selected painting or paintings.

Come play with us!
