Mishon Ratliff


Mishon Ratliff was born in Los Angeles, California on February 3, 1993. Mishon (My-Shawn) Ratliff is a young singer and fledgling songwriter who represents the next wave of pop R&B edged with hip-hop fire. The 16 year-old vocalist has already stirred up noise with "Just A Kiss," which shows off the Los Angeles native's soaring vocal dexterity and considerable teen charm. The track, co-produced by the Interns and Harvey Mason was the number one most added song at urban radio (6/2/09). That is just the tip of the iceberg, as Mishon is poised to capture even more fans with his exciting debut CD, due this fall on producer/songwriter Vincent Herbert's new Streamline Records, a joint venture with Interscope Records. Mishon began his musical journey at the young age of 10. He released his debut CD on Dynasty Records titled "Still Mishon" in 2004. With a supportive family and label Mishon was encouraged to spread his wings. He has appeared in some of today's top teen magazines and has appeared on shows such as Soul Train and BET Next. Mishon's first CD may not have topped the charts but it caught the attention of Hollywood acting Coach and Casting directors Shari Rhodes and Pam Frazier. After his first acting class Ms. Rhodes knew she was looking at a superstar. While working on his next album "Youngsters" he didn't just sit around. This busy young teen has appeared in ads for AT&T and the May Company stores, guest starred on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he has done voice over work for Lions Gate movie "Akeelah and the Bee," doubled as a young Lebron James in his Nike campaign and now he is starring in ABC Family sitcom Lincoln Heights.

Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Bieber was 12 years old when he entered a local singing competition in Stratford coming out in second place. In late 2007 Justin and his mother started posting videos on YouTube so that his family and friends that couldn't make it would be able to see his performances. Bieber has covered songs by Usher, Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson. A few months after he started posting videos he was discovered by Scooter Braun, a former marketing executive of So So Def, who later became his manager. Braun flew Bieber to Atlanta, Georgia where he met with R&B singer/songwriter Usher. A week later Bieber had the opportunity to sing for Usher, Usher liked what he saw and wanted to sign him on the spot. Usher was not the only star looking to sign the young talent. Other stars such as Justin Timberlake also wanted to sign him, but Justin later chose Usher. He took Bieber under his wing, and got him an audition with Antonio L.A. Reid at Island Records. Impressed with what he heard, Reid signed Bieber to Island Records in October 2008. In July 2009 Bieber's first single "One Time" hit the charts reaching number 4 in Canada on its first week. He is currently in the studio working on his debut album "My World" which is set to release on September 15, 2009. Bieber is currently working on his debut album, My World, which features guest vocals from Usher, who also appears in the music video for the single "One Time". Currently Justin is on a promotion tour promoting his single "One Time" and has made various appearances on many radio stations. The album is scheduled for release on September 15, 2009.
Gucci Mane
Radric Davis better known as Gucci Mane was born on February 2, 1980 in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2005, he released his independent debut album entitled Trap House, which featured the successful single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. However, disputes over the rights to this single eventually caused a rift between the two artists. Hard to Kill followed in 2006.Gucci Mane was propelled to mainstream success with the release of Back to the Trap House in 2007, which sold 32,000 copies its first week. The album was fueled by the hit single "Freaky Gurl", which peaked at #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Rap Tracks. After ending another prison term, Gucci Mane began working on a mixtape called Writing on Da Wall and "Guccitendo". A new official mixtape "Guccimania" has some of his new 2009 singles featured on the mixtape. Gucci Mane is signed to Warner Bros. Records. Recently, he has appeared on remixes of the Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow" and Mariah Carey's "Obsessed". He also makes a guest appearance on Mario's "Break Up". He will be releasing his label debut "Gucci Movie" tentatively slated for Fall 2009, With the first single being, "Wasted" Featuring Plies. Gucci Mane was arrested for possession of marijuana and an un-licensed gun, the day before his debut album was released. Georgia prosecutors dropped the charges in January 2006 based on lack of evidence. He left prison that month on unrelated charges.
